Liga Mayor top team -San Salvador (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked PSN (2-7) 96-59 . San Salvador players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by PSN 's players. Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) stepped up and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Cuban Anisleidys Martinez (181-1989) chipped in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Four San Salvador players scored in double figures. San Salvador's coach Rainel Panfet felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Guatemalan swingman Genesis Catalan (176-1994) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds and Guatemalan forward Valeria Oliva (169-2006) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for San Salvador . They maintain first place with 8-0 record. PSN lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost.
